Consciousness Is The Solution Towards Being Decisive

by logish

At some point of life, we have to make a vital decision which involves a turning point in life. We stand in the middle of crossroads- unable to decide the right path.

How can we know that our decision is right? Who will guide us? Should we consider the advice of our well-wishers, who include family and friends? What if the decision turns out wrong?

These are the internal questions that bewilder and hinder a decision maker.

Consider the following situations wherein no one can make the right decision in an instant.

  1. You have an offer from a company which is located at your place of residence but it is a stalk job. You have a better offer from a company that is located at a different location far off from your place.
  2. You are offered a seat in the course of your choice in an average college and in a course you have no interests in a reputable college.
  3. A business opportunity has come to you. You would get 100 times more money if it works out. If it doesn’t, you would lose everything including your current savings.
  4. Car has become a necessity now. There are many models available in the market. Some of them have excellent features but you cannot afford to buy them. There are also models available which are cheap but cannot satisfy your requirements.
  5. You are planning to own a property. You have two choices. The former is buying a flat in an apartment complex which is cheap and secure. The later is buying a land where in you can construct a house in the near future. You have the land value in the later.

Further to add, you are proposed by 3 persons, all of whom satisfy your needs. The first person has an excellent educational background but has a bland personality. The second one is good looking but lacks educational background. The third one has both looks and brains but has a criminal record.

These are only examples of big decisions any individual has to face in life. And in reality there are hundreds of similar decision points. The decision made must be accurate, correct and final. Do you think it is possible? Yes, it is.

How To Make The Right Decision?

The best guide that can help you to make the right decision is your consciousness. Think clearly before you make the final decision. Do consider the suggestions made by friends, relatives, parents and well-wishers as they may raise valid points.

Execute the process in a systematic procedure. Take a piece of paper and write the advantages and disadvantages for each choice. Add weights to each of these points to prioritise how important they are to you. The points must include the future expected consequences, both positive and negative aspects.

Remember that you are the person who is aware of your weaknesses and your capabilities better than anyone else. Prepare yourself to face unexpected consequences.

Use the suggested method above before taking a decision. It makes no sense to think and worry after the decision has been made. Be confident and accept the results with a positive attitude.

Life is a puzzle- Solve it with intelligence. Life is a challenge- Face it with courage. Life is a question- Answer it with correct decision.

How to Relieve Stress through Exercise

by logish

Exercise might not sound extremely exciting in your world right now, but it definitely comes with many benefits. Taking part in everyday exercise will not only make people generally healthier, but it will also lower the stress effects on bodies, too.

How many times do you come across people who proclaim that their doctors say they are stressed? Occasionally, it is laughed off, concluding this is what doctors tend to say whenever they do not know the actual diagnosis or answer. However, the reality is stress can play a huge role in many diseases.

In order to enhance the immune system and lower your levels of stress, try to exercise daily. Movement would be the key. Reach, bend, stretch and walk. And there wouldn’t be need to purchase expensive equipment. More movement can be implemented into your everyday routine in order to reap benefits.

If you are interested in aerobic exercises, grab one partner to have a complete blast with a basic aerobic video. Or, just go out for walks and simply enjoy spending some time together. You must have heard it tons of times; walking is truly the greatest overall exercise for one’s health. Just as long as a decent pair of shoes for walking is available, you will be in business.

Additionally, as you go through your everyday activities, you should walk whenever possible, bend down to pick things up instead of using some kind of pick-up sticks or knocking items toward you with the help of your foot. As you sit, do several easy stretches for your shoulders and neck.

If you happen to enjoy watching things on television, purchase a jogging board. They are padded and can make jumping, walking or running in place much less stressful on your joints and knees. They are portable and easy to store. Jogging boards would be the greatest piece of equipment for exercise that you can purchase. And they are far cheaper compared to stationary bikes and bulky treadmills, as well.

Make a point to actually move much more throughout your day to boost the immunity of the body and generally stay healthy. There would be no reason to let stressful situations take tolls on your health.

Nothing Is Impossible

by logish

All of us dream to be something more than what we are at present. Our dreams transform and mature as we become more experienced but the means to materializing those dreams remain the same. If only we could aim as high as we can and achieve it.

Upon asking, many people would say that their dreams are unrealistic or impossible. They forget that anything and everything, before it is invented or done, is only obscure but not impossible. When people dream sky high and not realize them, they are left with only desires and regrets.

A wise man once said ‘Only those who dare to go too far know how far one can go’ and he was right. If you do not take a step over what you deem impossible, you will not achieve whatever you are after. Leave self doubt behind. Do not question you abilities, just use them.

Here is an exercise for you to get you started. You should jot down things which you aspire to do in life under headings such as ‘I know I can’, ‘may be’ and ‘impossible’. Then you may start reaching goals first in the ‘I know I can’ list, followed by the ‘may be’ list and finally the ‘impossible’ list. This way you would get your goals organized, get some sense of achievement and get round to actually doing things. You would also realize that things which you saw as impossible a while back are now doable.

The aim of this exercise is to widen the horizons of your imagination and allow you to aim high as well as achieve those aims step by step. But you should remember that setting goals which are truly unrealistic is not going to help.

In the words of Thomas Edison, a genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. As long as you try your best there is no stopping you from achieving the next big idea.

Be inspired by the video below about achieving your dreams.

No pain no gain. Remember this by heart. Write it and stick it above you bed. These words are very true. As long as you remain in your conformable zone, you will not push yourself hard enough.

Now that you know that nothing is impossible, all you need is dreams which I am pretty sure you have abundant supply of. There is not feeling in the world such as the satisfaction of pursuit of the dream of your life. Dream away and never look back!

5 Steps on How to Take Full Control of Your Life

by logish

When first taken a look at, it seems that ADD and positive thinking aren’t related at all. However, a lot of people with ADD get patterns of negative thinking by getting frustrated with challenges and the frequent feelings of becoming overwhelmed. Such a negative outlook makes it more difficult for people to manage such challenges and then move ahead.

Through the practice of positive thinking, people who have ADD get to concentrate on their accomplishments and strengths, which increase motivation and happiness. This will then allow them to spend much more time progressing and less time being stuck and down. Here are some practical suggestions which can help patterns into positive thinking:

1. Take Care of Your Entire Self

It would be much easier to remain positive if you eat well, exercise, and get enough rest.

2. Constantly Remind Yourself of Things to be Grateful for

Challenges and stresses aren’t as bad if you always remind yourself of things which make life right. Take a minute per day to stop and take in every good thing in life to make a big difference.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions

Fears of not being accepted or liked sometimes lead people to assume that they know what other people are thinking; however, our fears are hardly ever the reality. If you fear that friends or family members’ bad moods are because of something you have done or that co-workers are gossiping about you behind your back, actually speak up and then ask them about it. Do not waste your time worrying whether you actually did something wrong without having proof of having to worry.

4. Stay Away from Absolutes

Do you always say things like “You always show up late” or “You never do as you’re told”? Speaking and thinking in absolutes such as ‘always’ or ‘never’ only makes situations worse than they are and programs the brain into thinking that particular people cannot deliver certain things.

5. Stay Away from Negative Thoughts

Thoughts cannot hold power over you as long as no judgments are made. If you realize that you are thinking negatively, detach yourself and witness it, but do not follow it.

In today’s corporate world, the religion would pretty much be protocol. To actually know what you need to do would be the overall basics when it comes to productivity; however, having steady minds and interacting actually makes up the whole thing when it comes to real productivity. There are people who seem like they work well under pressure; however, they are uncommon since people are imperfect and human. To get little things such as stress under the skin will not solve any problems. Sometimes, it just takes some courage to say that we are becoming workaholics and then tell ourselves that we simply aren’t doing our very best.

The Importance of Visualization

by logish

Creative visualization refers to the use of a person’s imagination to make mental pictures of things that a person wishes to manifest, influencing reality in the process. Creating ideas or mental pictures within the brain of your exact desires would define the overall ability to actually imagine.

Regular repetition with strong intent and emotions gives ideas or mental pictures that you try to create a highly positive energy up until it actually becomes a reality.

638195885_53e7ed1999

Science is beginning to reflect ideas of spiritual and metaphysical leaders that the physical world actually constitutes energy instead of matter, which is something that has enlightened people for centuries. The simplest ingredient of such energy would be a force known as prana.

Therefore, visualizing the energy of prana entering your nose and then circulating through your body would have a huge revitalizing effect within your entire body, as well as your general outlook when it comes to life. Visualization doesn’t have to be a concept that is unusual, new or strange since you probably visualize something every single minute of every single day.

The main idea would be to dwell on the thoughts that you would like to turn real – not as a future fantasy, but real in the sense of today, in your daily life right now.

Program and re-wire your brain to believe that your desires are real and actually taking place. Believe that you are actually watching a self-made video. Play your role as an actual actor with every movement and emotion as real as possible. Mental pictures need to be vivid and clear when you create them.

Via repetition, you can learn and master skills of creating desired mental images, as well as feel these experiences like they are real and already happening.

This kind of visualization is like pure magic. It involves balancing and understanding oneself with natural laws that govern the innermost workings of our and learning to make use of these principles and laws in highly creative and conscious methods.

The message would be to imprint thoughts and images into the brain while continually and regularly feeding it, making sure that your desired outcomes become actual reality.

This technique of visualization should not be used as a means to control other people or to press your will onto them. The main purpose of this process of visualization process would be to break and then flush these inner obstacles to let natural flows occur, as well as to increase self-realization and one’s ability to fill himself with nothing but positive energy.

How to Seize Your Every Goal

by logish

Before deciding whether single goals fit into your overall program of goals, you should work those goals through processes that can aid in determining whether this goal currently needs to be pursued. This may take some time; however, it will save you a lot of frustration and time by getting rid of goals which aren’t meant for you and helping to pinpoint what you have currently have to concentrate on.

1. Target your goal.

Goals have to be SMART: S for specific, M for measurable, A for attainable, R for realistic, and T for timely. Keep in mind that several goals need to be huge while other goals need to be long-range. Important goals need to be broken into smaller portions to make sure that there is everyday accountability.

2. Pinpoint how you can benefit from your goal.

People oftentimes fail to achieve their goals since they focus on costs instead of benefits. Instead of focusing on negatives, think about the benefits you can enjoy. While setting goals, make lists of tangible rewards that are going to be yours once the goal is reached. Every time you start to ask whether pursuing that goal would be worth it, just take the benefits list out and read it again.

3. List down all of the obstacles which stand in the way of your goal.

You have to pinpoint obstacles to be more realistic and stay away from being surprised. A lot of people have experienced the realization that they actually didn’t know how demanding a goal was or how much effort or time it required or how many pitfalls it involved. Planning carefully and in advance will get rid of a lot of disappointments; however, you need to understand that not every roadblock ahead can be seen. This is why attitude, commitment, focuses, and responsibility on benefits is still a constant necessity. Patience would also be highly essential. Simply keep in mind that by staying concentrated on your goal, both your obstacles and your benefits can be seen.

Actually, only very few people get excited when it comes to obstacles. In fact, any kind of setback or disappointment is seldom seen as something to be enthusiastic about. Still, these difficulties should bring about excitement, if just to become stronger by overcoming obstacles and making you soar to even greater heights.

How to Manage Your Time Effectively

by logish

If you feel your workday’s plunging headlong into the never-enough-time abyss, you’re not alone. Many other busy professionals veer down that same dark chasm. It is possible, however, to rein in runaway time and manage it to your advantage. It might take a few simple techniques, or it might take an overhaul. Take stock, decide on an action plan and be the victor in the time war.

Pinpoint The Lost Time

A number of factors indicate that work time isn’t being managed efficiently.

Here are some clues to pay attention to. Time management becomes problematic when working professionals:

  • Don’t have the income level they have potential to achieve.
  • Aren’t seeing as many clients (as they could be).
  • Aren’t being promoted at work.
  • Take too long to physically find things in the work space.
  • Feel stressed and frustrated.
  • Might not be focusing on the best value-added activities for the company. Value-added activities bear a closer scrutiny when looking at time management.

So, where do already busy professionals begin to manage the time that got away, short of adding a few more hours to a crammed 24?

Take a good look around your office workplace. Is your in box buried? Is your desk covered by sliding mounds of paperwork? Do you have files in file cabinets that are dusty from disuse?

Organise From The Desk Up

If your time management has gone awry, disorganization might well be the root cause. To get a grip, set concrete goals about what you need to organize. Set aside a weekend (or two or three) to eliminate clutter from your workplace Write out a plan and tackle the project in small pieces:

No. 1: Desk.
No. 2: Shelves.
No. 3: File cabinet, and so on.

Purge ruthlessly. If the job seems overwhelming by yourself, consider hiring a professional organizer.

Accessibility of materials professionals need most often leads to better time management.

Rethink The Bits and Pieces

Consider “only” 10 minutes as valuable time to get a piece of the project done.

Registered nurse Amy Wilson, 40, knows this mantra well. She often plans out her day during her morning 35- to 40-minute commute.

As a care coordinator on a busy cardiovascular unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley Colorado, Wilson contends with high stress, constant interruption and the need of patients, families, medical staff and insurance companies. On any given day, Wilson is responsible for monitoring the admissions, discharges and insurance care guidelines for nearly 20 patients.

She uses a monthly desk calendar to keep track of meetings and appointments, as well as jots notes reminding herself where she was during a task before she was interrupted.

By employing various techniques and resources to help get your time back in line, you’ll notice how your productivity increases and your stress level decreases.

In addition, here are seven easy-to-follow principles:

  1. Be active, not reactive.
  2. Set goals.
  3. Prioritize actions.
  4. Keep your focus.
  5. Create realistic deadlines.
  6. D-O I-T N-O-W.
  7. Balance your life.

How to Innovate in Life

by logish

Do you want to be an innovator? Well, you already are but you just don’t know it yet. What I am trying to say is that each and every one of us has the potential to be innovative and creative.

Daring To Be Creative

Do you remember how much time and effort it takes for a child to learn bicycling? It’s a lot. So, unleashing your creative and innovative potential is also going to take time and effort. Following are some tips to set you well on your way to innovation and creativity:

Do not let people tell you want to do or that you are crazy. By trying to pitch your ideas to others you are just wasting your time and whatever ‘help’ they may provide would be in form of negative criticism. If all inventors and innovators of the past had conformed to convention, we would have been still stuck in the middle ages. If you are genuine, you are on your way to success and respect.

Invest as much time in your idea as possible. This is not to say that you should quit your present job, but to say that if you work with a little more discipline you can excel in both of them.

Do whatever it takes to keep yourself relaxed physically and mentally, at least for a short while, if not all the time during the day. This allows you to explore new ideas.

Keep a record of your ideas and dreams no matter how crazy or over the top they might seem. Thinking what others are not, is one of the strongest indications of innovative and creative thought. So, you may want to keep a diary of whatever inspires you.

Concentrate on your skill not the instruments. You, for instance, do not need a 12 megapixel Nikon camera in order to be a master photographer. An artist is always aware of what works and how it works.

Be passionate about what you are doing. If you want to do something, if you want to change something, pursue it with rage. If you want it bad enough, you would be unstoppable.

Inspiration just happens. You cannot make it happen and sometimes it hits you when you are not even trying. So, keep a pen and paper with you just in case one of those next big ideas hits you in the subway on your way to work.

I surely hope that you have found the answer to all of your questions. Now that the path is paved for you, all you need is to run to your destination. Not only run but like run like there is no tomorrow!
